UKTA National Umpire Course


UKTA NATIONAL UMPIRE COURSE

You are invited to attend a National Umpire Training Course hosted by the UKTA Umpire Committee.

Over the course of two days you will have the opportunity to practise the 24 patterns, the aim is to give you the highest level of technical knowledge while paying particular attention to the common errors competitors make.

On day two you will receive input on the tournament rules and regulations with opportunity to digest and discuss them, and participate in practical application of what you’ve learned.

National C, B & A certification will be awarded to successful applicants.

The course is limited to 45 participants. Although the minimum age for umpires is 18, junior black belts are welcome to apply if they wish to assist in the running of the tournaments in other capacities whilst gaining valuable experience for when they are able to officiate fully.

1st kups who are due to grade for black belt can also apply.

If the applications exceed the 45 spaces, priority will be given to new umpires and C and B class looking to upgrade their qualifications.

Times – 9:30am – 4:30pm
